ETT Industries Trayser review
Ultimate e-bike for Travelling with Style and Attitude
ETT Industries Trayser is essentially an electric bike that gets a boost of energy from the motor fitted on its rear wheel. It has a futuristic look as if it is a cross between a robot and an ordinary bike.
ETT Industries Trayser remains an ebike that gives you the joy of cycling, by taking the hard effort out of cycling. It also provides us with an attractive view of the future with an entirely fresh generation of bikes, although it looks a bit unconventional.
• 60 miles range with minimum rider input
• 250 Watts 0.33hp motor
• 15.5 mph to powered speed
• Good battery life
• Hard to pedal the bike when battery is flat
• Five hours of charge time
ETT Industries Trayser Design and Features
ETT Industries Trayser is not just another ebike with a road bike fitted with an electric motor. Instead it makes use of a Raker electric moped design in its design. You can take it as a piece of art or an ungainly monstrosity, depending on your point of view.
The ETT Trayser is modular in structure, and the frame’s central bulk is taken up by an enormous battery that can power your bike for as much as 60 miles. Of course, there are smaller versions of the battery unit also are available, as they are practical for commuting inside a city.
And the beauty of this amazing bike is that you can add to its looks by either downloading 3D print parts, mudguards, phone holders or racks. You can also design wholly new parts to customize as well as adapt it as you like.
ETT Industries Trayser is a pedal cycle that is electrically assisted. It is battery-powered to provide you with a convenient boost as you go cruising along the roads or highways.
It has a low-assist setting that makes you feel that you are riding along merrily with a blowing from behind. If you turn on the higher-assist setting, it becomes very powerful, pushing you rapidly forward with a good thrust. As soon as you gain speeds over 15 mph, the motor ceases to accelerate, as anything over 15mph is considered moped territory. However, if you want to go faster the only thing you need to do is to make use of your leg-power.
Although the motor of a bike can only add power as long as you keep pedaling, Trayser lets you do so with the minimum of effort, and still obtain the full force of the 250W motor.
It is true that you have to toil a bit for yourself to move along, but it is really fun to allow the motor to do much of the hard pedaling, to zoom around a city, a stretch of country road or highway like a being from the far future. However, on the downside, it’s not possible to ride well when the Trayser’s battery turn flat. Although the Trayser takes five hours to be fully charged, it is compensated by the battery range to the tune of 60 miles.
The ETT Trayser remains an ebike that gives you the joy of cycling, by taking the hard effort out of cycling. It also provides us with an attractive view of the future with an entirely fresh generation of bikes, although it looks a bit unconventional.
