Acer Predator 15  Design and Features

Compared to other gaming laptops, The Acer Predator 15 is thin, but as far as the weight is concerned it weighs more than laptops with 15” to 16” displays. This extra weight makes it uncomfortable to carry around, if you happen to travel often. It comes with an Intel Quad Core i7-6700HQ, also known as the Skylake-H with a 2.60 GHz clock speed, and cache of 6 MB. The Predator 15 has a whopping 32 GB RAM, the highest for any laptop, so performing multiple applications pose no problems whatsoever at all, with all these memory.

The Predator 15 has a 15.6 inch display, 15″ to16″ being the most popular display size range for gaming laptops. These are excellent great for entertainment, providing sufficient space for most work-related applications. However, there is a downside to this: at 15 inches, you begin to  sacrifice portability for its larger screen. Besides, laptops in this size range are extremely heavy to carry it around if you happen to travel frequently. In fact, the Predator 15’s display ranks top in matters such as picture quality and sharpness, even surpassing the 1080p level and at an incredible resolution of 3840 x 2160 px, with an aspect ratio of 16:9. So this machine is excellent for watching HD videos, as well as display-heavy applications like photo editing. Speaking of audio, Predator’s SoundPound 2.1 audio comes with two speakers, a potent subwoofer as well as Dolby Audio for true sound with deep immersion.

In the case of storage space also, The Predator 15 wins hands down, with a mammoth 2000 gigabytes on its giant SSD hard disk drive.
